Affordable Property Management Inc. manages non-profit and co-operative housing projects in the greater Metropolitan area and commenced in 1991.

APM provides trained and experienced Property Managers, Administrators and Accounting services to manage non-profits and co-operative housing projects. APM ensures that the directions of the Board are addressed through the project staff and the needs of the tenants are met efficiently. We ensure complete accuracy and direction in managing the projects especially in adhering to the Social Housing Reform Act and the Regional Regulations.

The Management Philosophy of APM is to run non-profit and co-operative buildings like a business ensuring that the revenue is collected as required and the accounts are paid and up to date. Our maintenance standards are quite high which ensures units are marketable and the project is attractive to the community. This basic principle provides structure and support to the Board and removes the responsibility from volunteers.

APM offers assistance with the selection of tenants for the building as part of our Property Management services. APM ensures that the specific program regulations of the Social Housing Reform Act are followed properly. The Property Manager must be familiar with the approved number of market rents and subsidized families/seniors identified in the project mandate.
