Co-Owner

The concept of a co-ownership was popular in the 1980’s when rental buildings began selling off shares in a building and converted rental units into co-ownership.

In a condominium a purchaser obtains ownership of individual units by deed while co-ownership means the buyer obtains a percentage of the building by deed and the right to live in a specific unit. Both concepts have maintenance fees that cover the common area expenses and a Board of Directors to provide leadership in the property.

APM is experienced managing co-ownership housing in Toronto and has an understanding of Co-ownership Agreements.
